However, many individuals realize for the first time in telework that they may not have had a unified awareness in the first place.
- Implementing Flexibility In remote work, team members operate from different locations, making the implementation of flexible working hours effective. Adjusting work hours according to each team member’s availability can improve productivity and motivation. However, to maintain communication, consider setting some common working hours. In our company, we have members working late at night, and it’s delightful to see tasks requested just before leaving the office completed first thing in the morning.

For example, organizing online lunch meetings or regular offline events can strengthen team unity. Additionally, providing regular feedback and expressing gratitude are also essential. Personally, with telework, having more personal time, I find it refreshing to occasionally meet with colleagues.
- Enhancing Self-Management Skills Remote work demands self-management skills. Each team member must manage their own time and prioritize tasks to increase productivity. Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to improve time and task management skills. Additionally, actively engage in learning and training for personal growth. Nonetheless, statistically, research results overwhelmingly suggest that telework is more efficient.
