インターネット上で共有すべきではない情報について
インターネットは現代社会において欠かせない存在となりました。情報を簡単に入手できたり、交流を深めることができたりと、多くのメリットがあります。しかし、一方で、若年層や、高齢層など、利用者はどんどん拡大するばかりです。自分の子供が、高齢者の親やインターネットを使い始めたときに、適切に扱わないと、彼らのだけではなく私たち自身の個人情報やプライバシーが危険にさらされる可能性もあるため、注意が必要です。今回は、インターネット上で共有すべきでない情報について、お子さんや、高齢者の方々と共に学べるように、まとめてみました。一緒に考えてみましょう。
まずは個人情報について
氏名、住所、電話番号、生年月日など、自分自身が特定される情報はインターネット上で公開するべきではありません。これらの情報は悪意のある第三者によって不正利用される可能性があります。特にSNSなどのプラットフォームでは、自分自身のプロフィールや投稿に関する情報が他の人に広まることもありますので、注意が必要です。公共のwifiを使用している際に、パスワードなどが盗み取られることがしばしば報告されています。公共のwifiでは絶対にパスワードを入力しないようにしましょう。（私はそもそも公共のwifiは避けています。）
次に、金銭に関する情報です。
銀行口座の番号やクレジットカードの情報、パスワードなどは絶対に公開してはいけません。これらの情報が漏洩すると、個人の財産やプライバシーが危険にさらされる可能性があります。信頼できるウェブサイトやオンラインショッピングサイトでのみ金銭情報を入力するようにしましょう。URL（ウェブサイトのアドレス）の左隣に、鍵マークがついていないサイトでは、セキュリティが保護されていないので、入力は避けましょう。（最近は少なくなってきましたが、念の為。）
さらに、個人のプライバシーに関わる情報も注意が必要です。自分自身や他人の写真や動画、個人的なメッセージなどは、関係のない人々に公開されることがあるため、慎重に扱うべきです。特にプライバシーの侵害やストーカー被害につながる可能性があるため、プライバシーを守るためには十分な配慮が必要です。
職場や学校での情報について
会社の内部情報や学校のルールに関する情報は、公開してはいけません。これらの情報は悪用される可能性があり、自身や他の人々に迷惑や損害を与えることになりかねません。職場や学校の情報は、関係者間でのみ共有すべきです。「こんなの大したことではない」と思っている情報でも、断片が積み重なっていくと、車が特定され、家が特定され、個人の職場や、すまいなどが特定される恐れが十分にあります。

クワガタの習性として、じっとしていて、一日中あまり動かないことをご存知ですか？その習性を利用して、玄関前に珍しいクワガタを放置しておくと、誰かが、「クワガタが玄関前にいた！どこから入ってきたのかな？不思議！！」などとツイートしたりSNSで公開するとします、そうすると、犯人からすれば、匿名のツイッターアカウントでも、十分に住所が特定できてしまうんです。
旅行中にリアルに情報をアップしてませんか？
インターネット上での情報共有には、さらなる注意が必要です。たとえば、旅行の予定や家族の不在期間など、外出先や不在の情報を公開することは、不正侵入や盗難のリスクを高める可能性があります。また、自身の政治的信念や宗教的信条など、個人的な意見を公開することも慎重に考える必要があります。これらの情報は、他の人々との意見の相違や、差別や攻撃の対象になる可能性があるためです。
さらに、子供や未成年者の情報についても特に注意が必要です。子供の写真や個人情報をインターネット上で公開することは、誘拐などの危険性があります。子供のプライバシーを守るためには、インターネット上での情報共有について家族でルールを設け、子供に対しても危険性を教える必要があります。
インターネットは便利なツールですが、情報を共有する際には常に慎重さが求められます。個人情報やプライバシーに関わる情報、金銭に関する情報、職場や学校の情報などは、自身や他の人々の安全を守るために慎重に扱うべきです。また、子供や未成年者の情報についても特に注意が必要です。インターネットリテラシーを高め、安全なインターネットの利用を心がけましょう。

The internet has become an indispensable part of modern society, offering numerous benefits such as easy access to information and opportunities for connecting with others. However, with the increasing number of users, including younger and older generations, it’s crucial to exercise caution to protect not only their personal information but also our own privacy from potential risks. In this context, let’s summarize the information that should not be shared online, so we can learn together with our children and older family members. Let’s think about it together.
First, let’s talk about personal information:
Information that can identify oneself, such as full name, address, phone number, and date of birth, should not be publicly disclosed on the internet. These details could be exploited by malicious third parties for wrongful purposes. Especially on social media platforms, your profile and posts might be seen by others, so it’s essential to be cautious. There have been reports of passwords being stolen when using public Wi-Fi. Hence, it’s advised to avoid entering passwords while connected to public Wi-Fi networks. (Personally, I try to avoid public Wi-Fi altogether.)
Next, let’s address financial information:
Never share sensitive details like bank account numbers, credit card information, or passwords online. If these pieces of information are leaked, it can jeopardize personal assets and privacy. Only input financial information on trustworthy websites and online shopping platforms. Websites without a padlock symbol (located to the left of the URL) lack proper security, so it’s best to avoid entering any data on such sites. (Although they have become less common, it’s better to be safe.)
Furthermore, we need to be careful about information related to personal privacy. Photos, videos, personal messages, and other such content should be handled with caution since they might be exposed to unrelated individuals online. This could potentially lead to privacy violations or even stalking incidents. Therefore, safeguarding one’s privacy requires careful consideration.
Information from the workplace or school:
Confidential information related to your company or school’s internal affairs should not be made public. Such information can be misused and cause inconvenience or harm to oneself and others. Workplace and school-related information should only be shared among relevant parties. Even seemingly insignificant pieces of information can add up and lead to the identification of one’s location, workplace, or residence.
The above is a portion of the information that should not be shared online. To protect our safety and privacy, it’s crucial to handle this information with care.

Also, sharing personal opinions about politics or religion should be carefully considered, as they might lead to differences in views, discrimination, or becoming targets of attack.
Additionally, special attention is needed when it comes to sharing information about children or minors. Posting pictures or personal information about children online could pose risks like kidnapping. To protect a child’s privacy, it’s crucial to establish family rules about online information sharing and educate children about potential dangers.
The internet is a useful tool, but it requires constant vigilance when sharing information. Personal information, financial details, workplace or school-related information, and information about children and minors should all be handled with care to ensure our safety and the safety of others. Let’s improve our internet literacy and strive for safe internet usage.
